Agenda Gap is a strengths-based, skill- and capacity-building program for youth. It is not intended to act as a peer-support or therapeutic group. As a facilitator, you are expected to support youth in co-developing knowledge and building partnerships to facilitate their goals.

You are not expected to provide counselling, treatment, or more specialized mental health services to youth. If you become aware of a young person who shows signs of experiencing difficulties with their mental health, please ensure that they are referred to appropriate mental health or social care services.

A list of support resources customized to your region will be made available to you and all youth participants during initial planning and recruitment phases. A general list of support resources is also available in Appendix B of the facilitation guide.
