Q: Where has Agenda Gap been delivered?

A: Agenda Gap has been successfully delivered in 10 locations across four provinces—British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Nova Scotia—through 15 Agenda Gap groups to date. Q: Do I need to know anything about policy or policy change before I start the program?

A: Nope! You are not expected to have subject matter expertise. Agenda Gap is a co-learning space – you will be fully supported by the Agenda Gap team at UBC for at least one fully delivery cycle.. Q: How much time does workshop delivery take each week?

A: 2 to 3 hours total per week. Workshops last for 1.5 to 2 hours each week, over roughly 4-5 months. We recommend an additional ~30 minutes each week to review workshop materials and/or for pre-workshop huddles. In later stages of the program, additional time may be required to facilitate inviting guest speakers / adult allies into the space and support youths' policy objectives.

Q: Who does Agenda Gap serve?

A: Canadian youth, facilitators, allies, families and communities.  All youth are welcome to take part in Agenda Gap and can benefit in different ways.
